In August 1776, little over a month after the Continental Congress had formally declared independence from Great Britain, General George Washington's young army faced off against over 20,000 British and Hessian soldiers at the Battle of Brooklyn.     Items were as described! We will be using them on a Disney Cruise next year and couldn't beat the deal for two mugs including shipping cost! Wonderfully packaged! Our mailperson is not delicate with packages and I got nervous when I saw on the doorbell camera that the package basically fell out of their arms onto the concrete porch.     Mainline overdose for the revolutionary junkie.

    i haven't purchased book or read one in a long, long time. until i saw this. i consider myself well read on the subject, although i cant recall specific dates and engagement timelines as well as some. but I am sure ive never come across the subject of an elite or well equipped regiment of die hard patriots who lay down their lives for the cause. its regiments of the lower American aristocracy-merchants, plantation owners, the days captain of industry, who equipped themselves and answered the call for Washington in times of potential destruction of the cause.
