We start with the first recording Buddy made, My Two-Timing' Woman, cut at the age of 14, followed by nine tracks from Buddy's early work with Bob Montgomery, three of 'em unreleased! Then come 14 tracks from "The Garage Tapes," a series of recordings Buddy cut with the Crickets in his family's garage. Disc two leads off with 15 outtakes/alternate takes of classic Holly/Crickets tracks like Not Fade Away; Think It Over, and That'll Be the Day, and then comes the capper-16 tracks from the legendary "Apartment Tapes," the solo acoustic demos of new songs Buddy cut in his apartment just months before his death in a plane crash. 59 tracks on two jam-packed CDs!

Buddy Holly: Down The Line
I really enjoyed listening to Buddy Holly: Down The Line. In fact, I bought two copies because it is so good. It is so good because it includes many rare songs that he recorded at home before he became famous. While the sound quality isn't perfect, it is good enough to have in your music collection.
