First-Rate Reissue of the Top Quality Live Album -- The Way to Hear Kiss
I was never a fan of Kiss during the years that they were burning up the charts and the airwaves. But they knew how to put on a live show, and not just visually -- this remastering of their original live album is first-rate from beginning to end, capturing their musical virtues exceptionally well and a better listening experience than most of their studio albums. They would never have been a match for the likes of, say, the Cream on one of their really good nights on stage, in terms of musical reach (or grasp), but as a showcase for Kiss's music you can't do much better than this.

Item was in perfect condition, but the double CD holder is needlessly complex. Wish content could have been put on one CD. The music of Kiss is, as always, heavy duty and industrial strength.

A remaster as good as an original!
Limited only by the recording capabilities of the mid-1970's, this CD allows a classic hard rock band to come alive in today's stereo systems. This remaster sounds as solid and clean as an original, and included a 5-page booklet with photos and notes from the band members. A two-disc set, there are 16 songs included on this recording.

Kiss Alive
One of the best live rock'n' roll live albums beginning to end. Yeah, engineers & producers toyed with it for clarity and awesome sound, but so what? Ace Frehleys' lead guitar playing is worth it all. All their classic Kiss songs of that time make this double CD "The hottest band in the land." I'll add "Yessongs" by Yes to be fair.

KISS the best
A basement flood destroyed my vinyl album. Was concerned that the remastering process would ruin the sound of the CD but that is not the case. Highly recommend, if you liked it on vinyl the CD is great. My faves Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss, never a better lineup in the world!

My favorite live album ever, when I heard this album in 1976 I was absolutely amazing how it sounded and the cover was AWESOME, brings back so many great memories every time I see it or listen to it

Blast from the past
Had the vinyl back in the late 70's, this cd sound quality is fantastic imo a GREAT remaster..well worth the asking price of "admission".
