Hideo Kojima's iconic stealth series returns to offer more complex, theatrical plotting and a new focus on open-world exploration and elective missions in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Set shortly after the events of Peace Walker, and serving as a prologue to The Phantom Pain, Ground Zeroes finds the renowned soldier Big Boss (aka Snake) attempting to infiltrate a secret U.S. military facility in Cuba to capture the female spy Paz, and rescue one of his army volunteers named Chico. Meanwhile, Snake's military base is preparing for a nuclear inspection.<br><br>Ground Zeroes is rooted in the franchise's stealth-action gameplay, with players encouraged to avoid conflict when possible, but perfectly capable of engaging in lethal combat in order to achieve their objectives. However, Ground Zeroes also represents a departure from traditional Metal Gear games by setting its action in an open-world environment. Snake can commandeer vehicles, pick up enemy weapons, and use his iDroid gadget to obtain mission intelligence, view a map, and call in a helicopter for extractions.<br><br>Xbox 360 gamers also get the added "Jamais Vu" mission, which features the cyborg Raiden battling bioroids from Kojima's cyberpunk adventure game Snatcher. Fun Game - Sometimes Confusing
This game is fun to play and has an interesting story. Sometimes it is VERY difficult to understand what is actually expected of the player during many of the missions. There are very brief descriptions as to what to do, but they are in extremely general terms. Also, another thing that is EXTREMELY annoying is that the actual "targets/locations" of what is supposed to be found or acted upon is not clearly shown. This causes the player to have to do endless roaming/horse riding in order to find the actual goal/target. Quite frustrating. Overall the game gets one involved in the story and there are many things to do. It generally keeps the player's interest and the "action" is fun and fairly realistic. The controls work well. Many times the "horse" controls are a nightmare but after a few hours you do get used to them. Vehicle action is acceptable and character movement is generally standard. Great game in the MGS series
Great mini intro game to MGS V: The Phantom Pain. Just don't expect a full game, there's only one map, but multiple missions with different objectives under varying conditions, i.e. day/night, sneaking/demolitions/sci-fi (body snatchers, cyborg ninja). It's a great game that will keep you busy for quite a while if you plan to compete all the side objectives, but it barely scratches the surface of all that The Phantom Pain has to offer.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
