FILM ACTUALLY ABOUT THE HORSES THEMSELVES
I LOVE THIS DVD AND CAN WATCH IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND NEVER GET TIRED OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ALL HORSE LOVERS!!!!!!!!! (For those people who've seen the Disney 1963 movie---that movie did not provide much info about the horses themselves---only about the WWII incident/rescue!) So, THIS GREAT PBS Nature DVD provides lots of info and FILM ACTUALLY ABOUT the horses themselves!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful documentary about these special horses
This is a documentary that I gave to a great granddaughter. I advised her on what this documentary is about. This was done very well. I hope she gains some knowledge of the bad things in this world and these unique horses that Hitler almost had totally destroyed.

Legendary Horses
Wonderful story of Iberian horses. Excellent photography, Gorgeous horses. This movie is a keeper for those of us who appreciate the stunning beauty of horses bred for excellence. I highly reccomend this film which follows the lives of horses from birth to retirement.

For the HORSE LOVER!
Excellent testimonial to the beauty, grace, and history of these magnificent horses. During WW2, the US Army under General Patton, snuck into Nazi controlled Czechoslovakia and liberated over 300 pure bred Lippizan mares & foals back to Austria and saved the breed! Miracle of The White Stallions released by Disney in the 60's is still a gold standard and Robert Taylor did a stellar job in learning to ride Dressage in only 3 months of intensive training! A companion movie to the Nature Series produced Legendary White Stallion movie. BRAVO!

Well-done documentary on the White Stallions
Excellent PBS documentary on these magnificent horses. Gives information on their training and their history. Some beautiful sections, especially those with the mares and their colts. Would have liked just a bit more footage of their performances. Also images of mating are a bit graphic if that bothers you. Highly recommended'
