War of the Worlds Martian Machine
Recieved the model in about three weeks well packaged. I also bought the electronics package to give the model life. Have yet to assemble it but it seems simple enough. The model is not painted, so an air brush will be a good investment if one isn't available to paint it.

War of the world model kit
I can wait to have a professional model maker to make this model with both lights and sound effects from the War Of The World film release 1953, I remember when first saw this movie, I was blown away by both the design of the Martain War Machine and both the sound that the ship made and the lights and the heat ray that shot out from the ship. To me it is the best movie made based on the book War of the World. But there is one thing that I also hope to make is the Martain War machine from the 2003 film which I also think is so cool, the movie starring Tom Cruise was not so good. nice kit with potential
nice kit, easy build, I put my own lights in it and fabricated the "energy beam" tripod legs George Pal envisioned for the film, but were too expensive special effects wise in the 50s. When the hull is lite up in the dark its very cool effect.

Great model

If you want a vintage WOTW model, this is my recommendation.

Childhood toys

I wasn't going to review this but since I was asked: This was not a new kit. It was previously owned, all pieces off the runner and dry assembled. One part was broken but still workable.
