    Drama at its best

    I watched 'To Serve Them All My Days' in the early 1980's when it was on TV, and really enjoyed it. I wondered if I was looking back through rose-tinted spectacles and if it had suffered through the passing of time. I'm pleased to say that I wasn't disappointed at all with the DVD's. The acting is excellent, and the storyline kept me wanting to watch 'just one more episode'. I wouldn't (and don't) hesitate to recommend this series to anyone.

    Very enjoyable

    I found this set of DVD's captivating ,a lovely story of the life of the schoolmaster , I couldn't wait to watch the next episode each time ,and I know that I shall enjoy watching it again and again in the future , one of my best buys ever .

    A classic...

    ...tale following a shell-shocked young recruit as he finds his way through the noble profession. Well acted, though a claustrophobic production like most TV dramas of that time.

    absorbing picture of life in a public school and it's characters

    A brilliant DVD from the series first broadcast in 1980. Totally entertaining and a really interesting and entertaining story. Well recommended
