- SIGNED EDITION. This copy has been signed by the author (with, his pseudonym and his real name) , with a short inscription, on, the title page. This book is in Very Good+ condition and has a, Very Good+ dust jacket. The book and its contents are in mostly, clean, bright condition. There is some beginning bumping and, rubbing to the spine ends of the book covers. There are light, stripes of toning to the endpapers at the spine hinges. The, text pages are clean and bright. There is noticeable toning and, spots of foxing to the top edge of the text block. The dust, jacket is mostly clean and bright, but there is some beginning, rubbing and wear to the spine ends and corners. "He went to, Harvard, graduating with a B. S. In astronomy in 1943. While, there he wrote his first published story, "Proof", which, appeared in the June 1942 issue of Astounding Science Fiction,, edited by John W. Campbell; three more appeared in later 1942, numbers. His further educational background includes an M. Ed., (Boston University 1946) and M. S. In chemistry (Simmons, College 1963).
