Poetry among the clouds
The technicalities of aircraft and flying are one compelling thing, but few of us are privileged to feel the excitement and grace of flying, like God did not make men to fly, but go on trains, as someone once thought. All Harald Penrose's books on flying (rather than the history of flight) reveal more than a hint of the magic of being part of another 'universe' not necessarily meant for us. I know this; I've been lucky to share the magic.
