    Kabar 1213

    Excellent knife, extremely sharp, well balanced, handle feels great in hand soft yet firm, sheath is very nice could be attached to molle gear with the right straps, over all I couldn’t ask for much more love it.

    Simply excellent

    The US marine KA-BAR knife has, since 1942, been the standard against which all military and civilian multipurpose fixed blade knives have been judged. Most of these knives were found lacking the utility, durability and reliability that has made the KA-BAR famous. This all black variant with a synthetic grip is a slight improvement on the leather washer gripped KA-BAR of yore, as the synthetic grip is not prone to the fungal damage that some of the original leather gripped knives suffered in humid tropical locations over the years. I have most of the variants of this knife in my collection and have found them to be of excellent quality, a remarkably good value, and recommend them to anyone that is looking for a reliable and durable field knife.

    Solid Knife

    What can you say about it’s proven track record. The handle is comfortable and the sheath is damn near bullet proof. My only issues with this knife is the fact that it’s not full tang and it doesn’t have a built in sharpener like the LMF ll. But....it’s a bleeping Ka-Bar...nuff said. Get one. It’ll last generations.

    Ka Bar usmc (modern version)Still flat out the best!

    This knife is still flat out the best money can buy. There are so many knives out there with all the bells and whistles but if you want a time tested top quality knife this is the only one you need. Yes its a great combat knife, but its also a great bushcraft knife. This knife truely does it all exceptionally well.

    It's a Kabar!

    Kabar always lives up to their name. If you've had a Kabar knife in a similar style to this then you know what to expect. The 1095 Cro-van steel it's made of is top notch and holds its edge very well. This particular Kabar has a very grippy handle too. I doubt it would slip out of anyone's hands easily whether it were wet or not. Highly recommended to anyone that needs a fixed blade knife for most any need.
