Mystery Movie Collection of Four 👍 and Two 👎
The first 3 movies with Edna Mae Oliver are the best of the series. The fourth starred Helen Brodrick and was quite good as well. The final two, with Zasu Pitts who changed the clever and perceptive Hildegard Witherspoon into a babbling idiot, are worthless. Best Miss Marple
I love these movies. She is the best Miss Marple. I watched these a lot on cable, since I cancelled cable I had to find the dvds. It wasn't easy but this set is in great condition.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Edna Mae Oliver (Hildegarde Withers) in 3 movies
Edna Mae Oliver was a great actress for comedy and/or drama roles; a talented character actress in many movies in her supporting roles. She died when she was still at the height of her career. The movie is very good; although, due to the age of the movie, English subtitles added, would have been better. Only 3 of the movies starred Edna, as Hildegarde Withers; the other movies, although good, would have been better with Edna, as Hildegarde Withers.
