    While the outer packaging could have been more sturdy (the box was coming apart) but was well taped, the coloring books were in a sealed plastic bag and in good condition.     The pictures uploaded by the seller were accurate to the item without any flaws. They shipped it off very quickly, the day right after I placed the order with minimal but effective packaging.     Great Book for Doll Costumers & French Fashion Doll Collectors

    If you costume French Fashion dolls, this is an incredible book to have in your library (especially if you can get it used, as I did.) There are a few negatives. I am not fond of the way the book is arranged; it's a little confusing with the garment information interspersed with information about places in Paris and cultural information. I would also NOT recommend this book for a beginning seamstress; some of the instructions are rather general in nature. I think you really need to know what you're doing. Other than that, the photos and garments shown (mostly 1870s, maybe an 1880s) are VERY nice. I have several books of this kind and I think this one has more authentic patterns for this time-period than any of my other books (As an aside, the book "A French Fashion Doll's Wardrobe" is ...
