Tired of horror movies not being horror movies? Hereditary would be the antidote offered by its distributor A24. On my first viewing via Prime Video, it was an absolutely dreadful experience seeing what the Graham family suffered through from the second they lose one of their children to the other jumping out of a window. The second viewing ended up being more depressing, as I almost cried after the film ended. Thanks to an incredible direction, performances, and focusing more on dread than cheap jumpscares, Hereditary will most likely not please those coming in expecting the film to be exciting and the edge of your seat type of "scary", but for those wanting to see a horror film leaving them horrified and depressed by the end, it's worth seeing every second. As for the DVD itself, the artwork was punctured, but the disc ran perfectly fine. The Blu-Ray has not been tested.

For people who understand a bit of demonology
I heard multiple people complain that this movie didn't make sense... I feel like they're the same type of people who prefer "Teen Titans Go!" to the original. The same people who say the original it was better, but never actually watched it to compare. It's about a little girl with a demon king stuck in her body because of her family history. Simple

Hereditary rules
One of my favorite Ari Aster movies besides Midsommar. Already own Midsommar on DVD, so had to get Hereditary on DVD. Came with a DVD & Blu-ray combo.
