Synopsis
Based on five years of research that included interviews with surviving Negro league players, this fact- and anecdote-filled account recreates the world o such legendary figures as Satchel Paige and Buck Leonard., It's a good thing Gabe Bristow lives and breathes the Navy SEAL credo, "the only easy day was yesterday," because today, his life is unrecognizable. When his prestigious career comes to a crashing halt, he's left with a bum leg and few prospects for employment that don't include a desk. That is, until he's offered the chance to command a private hostage rescue team and free a wealthy American businessman from Colombian paramilitary rebels. It seems like a good deal--until he meets his new team: a drunk Cajun linguist, a boy-genius CIA threat analyst, an FBI negotiator with mob ties, a cowboy medic, and an EOD expert as volatile as the bombs he defuses. Oh, and who could forget the sexy, frustratingly impulsive Audrey Van Amee? She's determined to help rescue her brother--or drive Gabe crazy. Whichever comes first. As the death toll rises, Gabe's team of delinquents must figure out how to work together long enough to save the day. Or, at least, not get themselves killed.Because Gabe's finally found something worth living for, and God help him if he can't bring her brother back alive.

- u***u (704)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufTOTAL PERFECTION is the only way to describe this card and all the other cards. Excellent packing (each card was in a penny sleeve and top loader) and fast shipping. Not often do you receive items as perfect as this card and the cards that came with it. The communication was also excellent, and I HIGHLY recommend this seller. If you want the very best from the very best, this is your guy.2008 Topps Stadium Club #170 Greg Smith Relic Auto Card AR69 (Nr. 196627633973)
- 9***6 (330)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzter MonatBestätigter KaufMagazine was immaculate, really nice. Just as advertised. For free shipping, it was really packaged well. I also want to note the excellent communication. I asked if the program had been scored, and he checked, and confirmed for me. Great seller.
- o***h (82)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufItem received was better than was descibed and is a very special addition to my collection. I appreciate the great and fair value of the entire transaction. And I am especially grateful for the way the piece was protected in packaging and the reasonable costs of shipping. I would encourage anyone to do business with the dealer; I certainly look forward to doing so myself.
