Sherlock: Season One is a dramatic television show produced by the BBC set in modern day London and based on the 19th century series by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle that is available on DVD. All characters in this drama have the same names as in the original series and even live at the same address. Holmes and his partner Dr. Watson navigate the streets of London in search of the infamous Moriarity. This two-disc set stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman, Rupert Graves, and Una Stubbs. Sherlock: Season One is directed by Coky Giedroyc, Euros Lyn, and Paul McGuigan and is written by Steve Thompson and Steven Moffat. Commentary by the actors and directors are featured before each episode in this drama, as well as a feature going behind the scenes that tells how the series is made. Best TV Show you will ever find!

Well written, just like Doyle...
Always engaging to go back to the classics, but with superb actors. It takes great actors to pull off one of the great fictional detectives. The arrogance of Benedict and the way he just seems to step into the role like he was meant specifically for it is undoubtedly one of the best casting decisions. I watched it on tv

Modern take on Sherlock Holmes

The best season of Sherlock
