Japan's popular wrestling series makes a comeback on North American PS2s in Fire Pro Wrestling Returns. The Fire Pro series, which saw two Game Boy Advance releases in the early 2000s, is known for its huge selection of wrestlers and extensive customization capabilities. Fire Pro Wrestling Returns brings more of the same 2D action, featuring a roster of hundreds of different wrestlers and the ability to create and save hundreds more. The game also features a massive amount of grapples and moves, which, when combined with the character design function and the ability to create custom referees, rings, logos, and belts, lets players recreate just about any famous wrestling match in history. Up to eight players can go head-to-head or team up in the game's many modes, which vary from simple single matches, to battle royals, to violent cage matches like the electrified barbed wire ropes exploding deathmatch.Product Identifiers

Great Game but you need loads of free time
Got this game for the potential of making a 80s/90s WWF game. The price was great so I bought it. When I realized how deep this game goes I was overwhelmed. I started to make characters and factions of my favorite 80s/90s babyfaces and heels, but after a month I was burnt out. The options on the game are everything you could ever want in a wrestling game and Fire Pro is the undisputed champion of wrestling videogames. I just don't have the time to make all the characters that I wanted to and I know that there is a way to download builds I just don't have the time to do it. Highly recommend to the wrestling fan.
