Fun To Watch Again and Again
Probably one of the best 30s serials and from Universal City. Watch Pauline and her professor/scientist father run from wild animals and jungle natives. Next they are trapped in a spooky temple replete with hidden rooms and trap doors. Somehow they manage to escape back to civilization and into the arms of gangsters, It is a whirlwind journey at breakneck speed that keeps Pauline on her toes. Strangely, Pauline is presented more as a victim than a heroine, but with so much gong on, you just want to watch what happens next.
