Best Godzilla game yet
Killer Kaiju fan service with this game. Loads of modes to play, solo or co-op. Huge amounts of unlockables & trophies.. this is the definitive version of this game, the PS3 version falling short with a smaller roster of kaijus (which are actually playable in king of Kaiju mode for ps4, whereas only then big G is selectable in the ps3 offering) so if you want ALL the Kaiju, and want to play as them and be the bad guy instead, you're only option is the ps4 version. The graphics are slightly upscaled, but not very noticeable. The addition of HD cutscenes when encountering the Kaiju on PS4 is awesome! This game really shines in co-op too, but the solo campaign is where the meat is at. Multiple pathways mean you rarely travel the same places in repeat play throughs, unless you're a sucker for ... Killer Kaiju fan service with this game. Loads of modes to play, solo or co-op. One great game mechanic is that G always starts out at 50M, and the more you destroy cities, army troops, even battle Kaiju, the more G grows until you get over 100M and come back as burning Godzilla to face off against the 2014 legendary beast himself. Diorama mode is fun where you get to arrange miniature toys of the monsters in mini city-scapes and take pics. If you like your gahsapon, you're in for a treat. Evolution mode lets you upgrade your Kaiju, but at a cost. You can only collect Kaiju DNA after defeating them in battle, and it's pretty scarce so if you want to level-up G and his posse of Kaiju, there's a fair bit of grinding here. Gameplay is fun, and can be challenging.. but there's not much variety to the formula. If you like the gameplay, well, that's a good thing. Well worth the cost (pretty cheap now) and highly recommended for all tokusatsu nerd gamers. Ive got the platinum trophy for the PS3 version & now playing thru the ps4 one but it's kicking my butt. It's always hair raising going up against a colossal 100M Kaiju when you're half their size!. Get this game now.

Worth is if you are a fan of franchise.
Having fun with it. If you are expecting a fast game with non stop destruction the you are looking in the wrong place. This is a game fans of the franchise will love. Slow methodical destruction and fun kaiju combat.

Great Fans Game
All aspects of this game are fun. The graphics are good and there's a lot to keep you busy and satisfied. There is only one true overall issue. You must be a true Godzilla fan. The more you know of Godzilla and its history, the more you will get out of this game. I've been a G fan for years. I've seen all of the movies both good and bad so I personally get a real kick out of playing the game. If you don't care much for Godzilla but you like a good monster fighting game then this might also be good for you.All aspects of this game are fun. The graphics are good and there's a lot to keep you busy and satisfied. There is only one true overall issue. You must be a true Godzilla fan. The more you know of Godzilla and its history, the more you will get out of this game. I've been a G fan for years. Despite it's bad reviews, it should not be overlooked. While it's not for everyone, this game is a tribute to Godzilla fans across the world. Most people complain about the controls, but there is nothing wrong with them. This game never should have been taken off shelves or the PlayStation store. It seems everyone expected a fast-paced fighting game, but that is not how Godzilla movies were. If you enjoy Godzilla and it's movies, you should give this game a chance. It's well worth it.Despite it's bad reviews, it should not be overlooked. While it's not for everyone, this game is a tribute to Godzilla fans across the world.
