Product Information

Rudy Duncan (Ben Affleck) is a small-time car thief about to be released from jail in time for Christmas. When his cellmate, Nick, is suddenly killed, Rudy decides to take on his identity in order to meet Nick's beautiful pen-pal girlfriend, Ashley (Charlize Theron). The couple has fun until her psychotic brother, Gabriel (Gary Sinise), shows up. Gabriel and his gang want to hold up a casino where Nick had once worked, and they blackmail Rudy/Nick into going along with the scheme. Rudy has to bluff his way through the crime, pretending to be Nick in order to avoid being killed while trying to sabotage the plans of the bad guys. Will Rudy be able to outsmart the bad guys, or will he end up facedown in the snow?Double crosses abound in this frosty film noir action movie boasting a twisty script by writer Ehren Kruger (SCREAM 3, ARLINGTON ROAD) and assured direction by veteran John Frankenheimer (THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE, RONIN), plus a sneaky sense of humor and plenty of Christmas references.

    This arrived today, condition as described and packaged well. I'm loving the smaller packages made for CD cases. Particularly when a seller doesn't also overload it with tape. This seller knows how to do it right! Appreciate fair price and fast ship, and looking forward to listening to this CD with content that was produced by David Foster for a few years. As I understand it, he and Peter Cetera actually got Chicago up and back on track again. Thanks much!!

    Transaction with seller was great. Shipped out exactly, arrived today, well packaged, same as photos. USPS managed to loose the pkg for a couple of days and it may have floated around a bit in the various Atlanta distribution centers before finally showing up. Not the sellers fault at all but annoying for me. Luckily the wait wasn’t too long.

    A film worth seeing again (and again)

    I saw this film at the theater when it was released. I thought it was good. I decided I would like to watch it again, so I purchased the DVD. I won't say more because I do not want to spoil the ending for new viewers to it. I having been buying Charlize Theron DVDs lately. She is pro. She brings credibility to all her roles, She also looks great. So you may want to check out this film.

    Not as good as Frankenheiners great films of the Sixties, but still an entertaing watch. Glad for the purchase.
