Nice I don't know about necessary
It works great. I don't feel like it hardly roles most of the time it just comes up nicely. I don't that the rollers make any difference. If you are strapped for cash the standard one with out the rollers for half the price will work fine. Seeing as I have this and not the other I can't say if it makes any difference in the consistency of the pull affecting the consistency of the shots. But its working and we are having fun shooting together.

Strong and easy to use
I just bought a new Parker Crossbow and needed this Rope Cocker because of my arthritis. The place of my purchase of the bow didn't have one. Thank you so much for your fast service and quality of your items. Thanks again and my God Bless you all.

super nice product
the product works great. The nicest feature is the padded rollers the move up the sides of the crossbow eliminating the wear and tear of a normal rope cocker

Nice but it didn't help me.
Nice rollers and they do as advertised. But it is no better or reduces the pull efford than the stock rope cocker that came with my Barnett Recrut. In fact my Barnett rope cocker is easier to engage because it has wider grips, enabling me to use three fingers instead of two.

Less Resistance
Had one that didn't have the rollers and it took the paint off the xbow. This one pulls much easier due to the rollers and doesn't scrape the camouflage off my xbow.
