Great Movie
This is just one of John Waynes great classics, with a fantastic cast, unfortunately it's not often seen on TV, network or Cable, which is why I added it to my John Wayne collection.

"They Were Expendable|"
Great movie. Anyone interested in Naval operations in the Pacific during WWII should see this movie. Great cast. Wayne and Montgomery are excellent. The movie is very realistic. You feel as if you're there with them.

Defective product- they were expendable.
DVD video stopped right in the middle of video. We restarted, but same thing happened a second time. Defective dvd. Also tried in another DVD player and same thing happened.

Good movie
Good movie depicting the early struggles of the PT boats in the Philippines. Loosely based on Bulkley’s squadron at the beginning of the war.
