True, it does not lock into place as it can slide up with ease but I prefer that since I don't have to worry about clips breaking over time. I like that it stands on it's own while the 3ds is charging. It's a great grip if you have medium to large hands as I can see someone with small hands finding it difficult to reach some areas of the 3ds. Thank you! A+

It makes the DS a little bulky but once you get used to it, it does wonders on the wrists. For a person with carpal tunnel, long handheld play sessions hurt after a while. This helps a lot though. My boyfriend tried to steal mine after he tried it lol. Great product and well made. And I really like how the blue matches my Monster Hunter Generations 3DS 💙

I was pleasantly surprised by the placement holders for the pinky and ring fingers. As someone who had cubital tunnel surgery in both arms recently (affects those fingers), they fit comfortably and thought was a great addition!
