    This sub is sick for what it is... I have it in a sealed box in the trunk of my Camry, It isn't gonna win you any sound comps but it sounds way better than any stock system I've ever heard. I would imagine if it were in a sealed inclosure it would be even more impressive. I have an all rockford setup with the R2.500x monoblock and the VD-10 seems to love it. I was running the R2.D4-10 punch sub till I blew it and lemme tell you... the Skar VD-10 Absolutely blows that sub out of the water.

    GREAT SUBS. NOT THE HARDEST BASE BUT I HAVE THEM IN THE SHALLOW DEPTH VERSION IN A SMALL UNDER SEAT BOX. BUT VERY VERY CLEAN BASS AND QUALITY PARTS

    Skar audio vd10 is a budget beast

    I have 3 of these behind the seat of my F150 in a sealed box getting approximately their 500 watts rms each and they sound great on any music, they're tight and punchy and they get down to hit the really low notes with no problem, not to mention the sound quality is good too. You will have to let them break in though, when I first installed them I wasn't very happy with it but after playing them for a couple of weeks getting them broke in they've started to impress and seem to keep getting better. I've heard they do best in a ported box too so I'm thinking of giving that a try. These subs are definitely worth every penny and I would recommend them for sure. The build quality is great and I'll say these are just as good as other subs that cost twice as much.

    Simply Awesome..

    These little 10's hit hard. Running a pair of these in a ported box in a Ram 1500 pickup & boy do they get down. Crossover set at 60 hertz. Very impressed with these subs. Would recommend to anyone looking for big bass where space is limited. They are slightly wider than your typical 10 so is a very tight fit in pre-cut box. They also don't seem to mind a lot of power. Impressive sound quality.

    For them Bass heads on a budget!

    First off was a pain to find a ported box for the Skar VD 10 given the manual saids 9.21 diameter vs the one given in the description 9.3(which is the right one). So i ended up getting a ported box with a 9.25 diameter cutout with a 1.1 cubic air. Just bust out the angle grinder to widen the diameter. Work like a charm witha nice tight fit. Before mounting inside ended up wiring it to 2ohm to pair it with a Boss riot 1100watt amp. It was a perfect match for each other. The amp itself pushes the sub hard enuff to annoy the neighbors and the people in the car next to you with clear deep bass. So if ur on a budget like i am without breaking the bank this is the sub to get it done.

    Excellent subs for the money!

    I needed 2 compact 10” subwoofers that would perform in a smaller enclosure. After much research I opted for the SKAR VD-10’s. After properly breaking them in I am more than impressed with the sound they produce!! Great value for the money too!!

    10" speakers

    They do sound better the more you play them took me about a week for them to sound good but they didn't fit quite snug in my Box I had to push them in a little bit otherwise pretty good quality speaker The base is amazing Nice and deep
