The title track was DJ Alan Freed's theme song (retitled 'Blues for Moondog') at the dawn of his legendary rock 'n' roll radio/TV/movie career. The Rhodes band's swinging & inventive rearrangements of pop standards & classical pieces have long been collected & cherished by jazz & R&B fans alike. Also featured are sparkling R&B vocal cuts by Rhodes band alumni Kitty Stevenson & 'singing waiter' Louie Saunders. Ace Records. 2002.
