EA's annual hockey series returns to the ice with different ways to play, major additions to existing modes, and more authentic goaltending in NHL 17. Gamers can take part in the World Cup of Hockey tournament for the first time, form the best teams possible with the fantasy style Draft Champions mode, or play with any of the 27 authentic ECHL teams. Players can also try their hand at being a general manager in the Franchise mode, and creative types can now design their own arenas. The EA Sports Hockey League team mode returns with more customization options, while the Be a Pro mode features career-defining moments, and the card-collecting Hockey Ultimate Team mode introduces the team-building HUT Synergy system. Gameplay adjustments include improved passing, more responsive skating and stopping, enhanced hit mechanics, and net battles, while goalies have improved positional awareness to make athletic or technical saves.

Received the item exactly as described and received it quickly. Packaging protected the item in shipment and the value, although overpriced, seems to be an uncommon item on auction and vendor sites, so I took the hit in the steep price. Another caveat was the high price in shipping, not coming with tracking which was odd since it was sent in a bubble mailer. I would suggest adjusting shipping. Thank you and I will keep an eye on your store, hopefully to do business with you again. Take care.

Item arrived in as described and in excellent condition, wrapped well in bubble and in a firm cardboard box. Additional cartridge even had it's own protective case, which wasn't expected but greatly appreciated. The seller clearly took care when dispatching this for international shippimg. Fairly priced, no complaints.

One of the better NHL games
This is probably the best NHL to date. The gameplay is great, the smallest bumps can cause someone to loose control of the puck, the checking is very good, the new sliders and difficulty make it where you can play how you want and there are so many options you can adjust. I love the create a team feature, iv spent a lot of time on it already. The custom logos are not all that great, not much detail to them more like a cartoon, not a large variety of custom logos, needs to include other leagues logos not just the NHL. In free agency a random "player" is a rated 99 makes no sense, have to place him on a team in order to edit his stats then put him back into free agency. Be a pro mode is slightly improved, it is a bit easier to get XP, but still needs improved. Almost the same as last ... This is probably the best NHL to date. The new franchise mode is very well done but not perfect, for YEARS scouting has been poor, it needs fixed should be like fifa and hire multiple scouts and select who you want them to scout. Also why have other leagues if you can't substitute them in the NHL? Older NHL games I like getting random teams from other leagues and doing a franchise with them but you can only replace NHL teams with created teams. This is a very good game,the best in years but still needs a lot of work. Picking it up for under $50 I think a a good buy, it's much improved from last year and the gameplay is so much better and a lot of fun to play.

Great game
Perfect game, if you like hockey. Any sports fan will enjoy playing this game. Every aspect of the game immerses you in the action. feels like you're in the game, without all of the bruises

It's ok...just ok. Lots of improvements as far as adjustability goes and a lot more added content as far as versions of game play. But really it looks exactly the same as last year's game. The cpu AI is lacking to say the least and the game feels a bit redundant whole playing. I like to play a game or two and then that's it for awhile. If the latest HUT and game play isn't a concern I'd save your money or at least find it on sale.It's ok...just ok. Lots of improvements as far as adjustability goes and a lot more added content as far as versions of game play. But really it looks exactly the same as last year's game.
