    Received as described and in good order. Packing could have been a little better I was just placed in a box with foam and allowed to bounce around inside of the box. No damage though so all is good and I am happy with this purchase.

    Not the best on communication. I never received my item. I received notice of refund(rather quickly) as they could not fill my order. I initiated all contact. It would have been better business to just tell me they never had my item to ship anytime before its arrival was late and I was asking questions.

    Excellent features, great lens system

    I can actually see what I'm welding again. Every once in a while I want a new helmet if there is a significant change in features or tech. This was one of those times. I do a lot of welding in low light situations. My other helmets are auto-darkening, but being cheaper designs they have some major limitations. This one can detect an arc from a wider angle than most helmets, so there's no problem with arc detection failure due to off angle or minor obstructions. The lens is big and clear, and protected inside and out by the replaceable lens guards. An extra outer lens is included in the box, as well as a soft protective storage/carry bag, which is very helpful in keeping it clean and keeping the lenses free of dirt and scratches.     Optrel VegaView 2.5

    I was looking into upgrade my helmet, so did a lot of research into what brand I think would suit my welding best. I kept coming back to Optrel. I almost bought a Miller, but lucky enough for me my buddy had just got the one I was looking at. Went over tried it on, man it's super heavy. Nice hood don't get me wrong, but it's pretty heavy (and expensive). So after looking and trying out others I bit the bullet, took a gamble, and bought the Optrel. I couldn't be happier! This thing is super light, clarity is amazing, easily adjusted on the fly and no more blind spots in my eyes from a worn out hood. I truly believe at this price point, there's not a better hood out there. The kit it comes with is great too. 6 shields, carrying bag and bookbag. I can wear it for hours and it's so light I ...

    Look No Farther

    Besides the hood being the lightest shield I have ever worn, the optical clarity is unsurpassed. Decades of wearing hoods that claim to be the best glass in the game have met their match. The cost won't break your wallet either. You will not be disappointed. If you CAC-A or weld pipe or heavy structures stick with a pipeline helmet that kind of work would eat this helmet, although it does come with a 3 year warranty! Shop fabrication and TIG welding roll cages, I couldn't be happier.

    Great purchase

    This helmet was a great purchase. The grind button on outside of helmet is a time saving feature. Wearing contacts the view thru this helmet is fantastic. Best money I have ever spent on myself..

    The best welding hat I've used!

    First off I don't welding every single day but enough I have and have had several moderate to high end welding lids from Miller, 3M, Hobart, yeah and a few more however at $269 this is probably the best lid I've used minus a few gripes about the headgear the lid and glass are to say the least SUPERB response-sensitivity-view-color I just cannot say enough about this lid.
