I cannot say for definite I was not supplied a cobalt drill bit but I can say the bit supplied by these guys cut with about 2% efficiency compared to a rivals drill bit. Weve literally sold thousands of these with no issues.

Generally harder and more durable than the already excellent M35 bits, but also more vulnerable to sideways forces when used in handheld drills, rather than pillar drills or lathes which hold the bit without any "wandering". A previous M42 bit cut thru s/steel, hardened plate, wood etc for 2 years without blunting, then snapped when soft iron wire caught in the side!
