I didn't even know if it was an oem part. Thankfully it did not arrive broken and fits into place on my car like the original part. Hopefully it will last longer than the last one. The price is quite expensive for a small plastic piece. I needed this part because I did not want the hood rod loose and dangling around under the hood.
