The ribbon was new, as described, and has a good amount of ink; the sealed plastic bag had kept the ink from drying out. The seller even had a note stuck to the bag with how to put the ribbon in. I couldn’t find ribbon for my typewriter anywhere locally; the price was good, especially considering that it had to be shipped. Thank you, FJA Products!
