They are as described, they seal well, you will need to rip them open to open them once sealed. The only issue I have with them is they frequently stick to each other so when I grap one it is stuck to the next one. It isn't a big enough problem to stop buying them. We have purchased other brands which did not do this. I would recommend them if this is not a problem for you, it cost me an extra couple of seconds for each bag I use.
