The quality appears to be excellent, I can’t complain at the value for money. They appear so good that I have ordered more.     Remote control was good quality and very quickly sent. I had to return it as it was actually my TV with the fault. Having messed up the return at my end and being unable to change the details (thank you Ebay for having such a poor software program) the seller was very understanding and his communications were faultless.     Humax Remote Control is very good

    The Humax Remote control is very good as I originally had one and then went the original one didn't work it was too expensive to replace it. So I bought a cheaper version which was awful. Buttons were too hard to press. So this one is an original. The only thing that has happened is that three times, the whole thing freezes and I have to re-boot by turning off at the wall and turning back on again. When I do this, I also have to press record for the programmes that were recording at the time. Hopefully this will not happen often.

    replacement remote for humax

    I looked at many remotes as a replacement for one that had worn out the important buttons. apart from the large range of prices many needed to be programmed to suit the equipment. however this much cheaper one was preprogrammed for the humax recorder so it was a total replacement and was used straight of the box. as it was for a 91 year old neighbour complications was not an option. this was a great buy at 8.50 pounds.

    Overall - would buy again.

    The two categories - YES/ NO are restricting in giving a more comment specific answer. Size is good to enable buttons to be seen easily. WORDS/ICONS UNDERNEATH 9 BOTTOM BUTTONS NEED TO BE CLARIFIED FOR LESS LITERATE COMPUTER USERS. Buttons could be made of some plastic material instead of rubber. RATING - The jump from 'Better than expected' to 'Amazing' is too wide a gap. Would inhibit some from using superlative. 'Very good' more appropriate.

    It works very well.

    Since it's a replacement of the same model I already own, it continues to work the same way as the old one did, (before it packed up) I'm very happy with the functionality of the new one.

    Original Humax control replacement

    I am very pleased with my original replacement control. I thought I might have to get help with resetting it but 'NO' it worked immediately with my Humax box just as my old control did and is identical in every way. I am delighted with the ease of it having thrown my original control out when clearing up the Xmas wrappings on Xmas day! Thank you!
