Thetford Upgrade, good quality, easy to install, even though I've never done this before.
The Thetford upgrade came with a toilet flange seal. The water valve was easy to install, I watched a U tube video, a new seal to reseat the toilet and I was done. I had never done this before and pleased with the way it turned out. I do recommend adding a water shutoff valve to your new setup. I bought a "Shark Bite" 90degree with 1/2 inch push connection x 3/8 compression with 1/4 turn shutoff handle and a 12" long braided line that will fit on the 3/8 compression fitting and the other end to fit on the new Thetford upgrade. Advertised as Thetford brand but it’s a cheap copy
This is NOT a Thetford brand replacement part. It is a aftermarket copy. The picture clearly shows a Thetford instruction sheet with part. Very deceptive in my opinion, so buyer beware. I will say the part did fix my leak. However, the original part lasted 10 years and I was wanting to use a Thetford brand replacement part which this is not. Replacement better than new.

easy to replace

Fast repair for frozen toilet.
I didn’t get back to my cabin this year to winterize the plumbing before the first fall freeze. My toilet and several pipes payed the price. Replaced the pipes there and brought the toilet back to my shop to see if it could be repaired. This $20 kit did the job within 15 minutes.
