    WANT to KNOW about VEGAS?

    I had no idea this program existed. Was reading Susan Berman's "Lady Las Vegas" book and discovered this companion DVD. The book & DVD definitely are worth having as a pair. You get the history of Vegas all the way from how the land evolved, the indigenous people, the first settlers to Ben Siegal's vision & the founding fathers in the Mob, the Mormon connection, into the heyday of Sinatra & the Rat Pack, Howard Hughes and then the transformation to modern Vegas with the building of the mega casinos and "family" entertainment. It even predicts the water issues which may end the dream. Lots of insider interviews including Susan Berman, who sadly was murdered about 5 years after this was produced.

    Gotta have it!

    This dvd is very entertaining. It really goes in depth to show the true origins of this magnificent place. I highly recommend it.
