The disc was covered in what looked like...
The disc was covered in what looked like flecks of white paint. After I cleaned it with a micro fiber cloth and some disc cleaner, iI tried to play it. Most of the movie would not play, I let the entire thing play through to see how bad the skipping was. Most scenes did not play without freezing or skipping huge chunks of the film. The movie skips from the mayflower dance to the end of the movie. I tried to see if there was anything I could do and nothing worked. Mixed review
Film is ok. I was hoping the picture would be darker or serious about pagan cults. It's not and the problem is most of the scenes is set during daytime and some of the cult rituals come off as unsatisfactory or campy. Not sure if this movie is of good value. It’s a story about trauma bonding and induction into a cult. A bit over the top and kinda comedic but overall it’s a cool film.
