"Let your device addict explore the fascinating inner workings of common household items with this book from gadget You Tuber Mike Warren." -- Real Simple -- -, "Designer, inventor, and fabricator Mike Warren decided to look inside pretty much any object he could get his hands on. Rather than simply using a screwdriver to open them up, he opted to use a state-of-the-art, 60,000-psi water jet cutter to slice them in two. Cut in Half , the book, exposes 'The Hidden World Inside Everyday Objects,' from boom boxes to boxing gloves. To accompany the stunning photographs [by Jonothan Woodward], Warren describes the inner workings and materials of each item." - My Modern Met, "Let your device addict explore the fascinating inner workings of common household items with this book from gadget You Tuber Mike Warren." -- Real Simple, "Waterjet master Mike Warren bisects items on his You Tube channel to viewers' delight. He now documents his work in his new book Cut in Half: The Hidden World Inside Everyday Objects , peeling open everything from golf clubs to digital cameras with the precision that only a waterjet cutter can provide." -- Make Magazine -- -, "Have you ever wished you could look inside the guts of your drill, video game console, or vacuum cleaner? The hidden worlds inside these everyday electronics are on full view in Cut in Half: The Hidden World Inside Everyday Objects , a book of mesmerizing photographs of objects that have been perfectly cut in half. . . . - x***- (111)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzter MonatBestätigter KaufThis came quickly and in the expected condition.
- e***- (122)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzter MonatBestätigter KaufUnfortunately I received a damaged book, the item and the package both were damaged and it was clearly evident its appearance that it happened during transit. The seller was very understanding and gave me a full refund for the damaged book, though it was no fault of their own. Other than the damage, the book was as described, the quality and condition aside from the damaged spot was like new. The cost of the book was reasonable. I would definitely purchase from the seller again.
- v***v (2101)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufAlthough this book was not as described, with no picture of it in the listing, the seller communicated well and quickly gave me a full refund while letting me keep it. The minimal packaging left the book a bit vulnerable (typical for ThriftBooks), but it did arrive safely and timely. As usual, it’s hit or miss with this seller, but often times you can get great values, and their customer service is always very good. Many other sellers with millions of transactions don’t even communicate. How to chalk talk, by Harlan Tarbell (Nr. 197064259889)
