Compact, Lightweight and Balanced. Great option for using a tripod in a different way
Fantastic! I used it at the state fair to get a different perspective on the lights and rides. I was able to set my camera with the Platypod on the ground, angle it and capture a world only a child could see. Pos: Flat Small Compact Balanced Cons : None

My experience
Good idea but even my small 28mm ball head tension knob hit on the leg screws when revolving the ball head 90- this is caused by the 3/8 mount being off center on the platy
