    Great movie with something for everyone

    I saw this many years ago in the theater, and now that I have the dvd find it is just as good as ever. Charlton Heston and Betty Hutton are great in their roles, as well as everyone else: Jimmy Stewart, Gloria Graham, etc. Then there is the circus itself: the elephants, clowns, acrobats, parades, etc. There is mystery, romance, suspense, crime and a train wreck. Even the circus audiences are great. I highly recommend this movie, especially now that Barnum & Bailey/Ringling brothers has closed forever.

    After 170 Year's

    The Circus has Closed the Big Top ...IF You Ever Want TO See the Circus Again. You can revisit this timeless and golden time, if you were able to attend one you remember it for life or if you know someone who has never been, this dvd is for you since they are closed forever the only way to enjoy is on dvd. Modern replacement is all the theme parks. The Greatest Show on Earth has big stars as James ( Jimmy ) Stewart; the performances are great, the story line is about the circus and the performers, great costumes. Engaging and Entertaining...

    SPECTACULAR, BEAUTIFUL COLOR!

    I Love the Circus Broke my Heart when it was Shut down. Perfect Color, Package is perfect. I like that you Enclosed a Shipping label. My DVD was Stolen 5 yrs ago. This is a Great Value.     Great Show to watch on DVD!!!

    Always wanted to go to the circus when I was younger. Never did. Someone told me to get this movie on a DVD and watch it. Extremely entertaining with a huge amount of background insights that unless you were there, you may know nothing about. The Greatest Show on Earth is very much a movie anyone can enjoy. I did and I was glad I took the time to view it!
