Don't bother with the Microsoft software.
I spent hours trying to get Cortina and voice recognition to work. I decided to give this a try I had some reservations about the microphone and earphone but I was surprised at the quality of them.This package worked perfectly right out of the box .However, there was about an hour long learning curveNecessary to get to know the various commands required to to control it.once you have the microphone positioned within 1 inch of your mouth it doesn't make any mistakes I'm using it right now to dictate this review.I am extremely satisfied with this and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to dictate into word or any other application that requires you to type something into it.I paid $35 for it and consider that a real bargain.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

What a help///
This product as far as being a good product, is good. But the cons are, you need a lot of RAM in your computer. I am going to upgrade though. I bout this because I am writing a book and I figured it would help me with that. The thing that stuck out to me is that you can import a digital voice file into the program and it will extract the text; That is why I bought it. I will know more when I get the 16 gb that I am putting into my computer. Now, for the best pasrt of this program! when I get my RAM in I will be able to use my digital recorder to dictate my book, and it will transcrabe all of it for me. Also, I find that this product comes in handy for people who can't really type that fast, and people that have capel tunnel syndrome which I have. GREAT BUY!
I use Windows 7, which has speech recognition. After attempting to use it (unsuccessfully), I was hesitant to use Dragon. Don't hesitate! It is extremely easy to use. It modifies your user profile with each use, quickly picking up on how you speak. The headset works perfectly. Faster composing
