Beautiful reprint of elegant 1902 publication, with English translation at back.
Very handsome reprint of the original 1902 edition, with english translation of the French original introduction and view identification. Interesting that the Tour Eiffel was rather disparaged as a "spike" on the city's landscape at the time! { I recall reading that it was only saved from demolition in the early 1900's by convincing the Parisian authorities that it could be used as a radio beacon and watchtower as political tensions built in Europe prior to WWI.}Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
