Sony ULT great fun headphones for bass lovers but build is questionable flimsy
I wanted some over the ear headphones with better bass options and NC, and the ULTs fit the bill. Got a good deal on them on here. The thing is, they sound fantastic, comfort level is pretty high, they're lightweight, easy to use, but, the build quality is very plastic-y lightweight and not very high quality. Bose and JBL have better build quality by far, even Skullcandy, for the same level of headphone and NC etc. and bass extras. However I was using the ULTs the past two weeks since I got them, today I had them on with music via my Iphone at IKEA for two hours, or so, and they sounded fantastic and drowned out any external noise and all I heard was my powerful music with powerful muscular bass and nothing else. And they are very light on the head. I just wish the build quality overall was better and a bit heavier with some more metal in them. The hinges and pivot points are notoriously weak on the ULTs from what I've read. Otherwise, for the money I paid used, they are worth it. The other BT headphones I own are older VMODA Crossfades which are 5 stars, but lack NC, and new JBL 770 LIVES which are almost as good as the Sonys and have better build quality overall. The Sony sound quality as long as you don't go nuts with too much ULT bass (use the EQ and app. features to reign it in) is nearly audiophile quality. Outstanding for their Price, maybe even better
Great sound quality for the price I bought it for, I didn't know these headphones existed but I am so glad I found them. They have active noise cancelling, turn themselves off (a setting that can be adjusted) after lack of use for a certain amount of time that you can adjust, touch controls, and great mic sound quality. It has a bass option, which is pretty great, but not completely necessary because if you have the app for the headphones, you can adjust every aspect of your sound through there. The active noise cancelling is quite effective, as it blocks a lot of noise, the headphones are a bit tight but understandable since they're noise cancelling, it hurts my head after long wearing periods, but I usually keep them on for thirty minutes to an hour when using them so it isn't a frequent issue. If you have a tougher head or you like to wear something over it like a hoodie or a beanie to cover it before putting on headphones, this shouldn't be a problem if you like wearing them for really long periods of time. Otherwise not only was this worth the price I paid, but it felt like a steal considering how good these are as I was planning on getting wh-1000xm5 headphones and these have very similar features.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Generalüberholt

I'm happy
This headset is replacing my WH-XB910N, which I used for everything. For years, they were my all day work headset, listen to music headset, watch movies headset, etc. Sine the ULT's got here and set up right for me. I havent touched the old headset.
