3D classic
As a kid I loved 3D movies and this was one of my favorites ! It's so obscure I thought I'd never see it again but here it is ! Menzies is one of the directors that really made good use of the 3D effect ! May not be everyone's cup of tea but it sure was mine !Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great 3D, but poor story / movie
When his Uncle the Baron dies, Gerald MacTeam travels to his ancestral castle. When his fiance follows him, she finds he has aged 20 years in just a few weeks. She is shocked by a monster briefly seen slithering away .Near the end of the film we see the "monster", almost laughable. The 3D effects are very good, great depth, good pop-outs. But the story is so bad it's hardly worth the time. The dvd was produced by Kino Lorber, always the best at restoring films from the best available film stock. One of the best 3D film of the 1950's.
