This book focuses on the evolving signaling system in the public telephone network and is more of a iche EE title than previous books in the Black series.ISDN (Integrated System Digital Networks) technology which allows for the transmission of voice, dte, video at very high speeds over a phone line, is finally being implemented after years of hype., Focusing on the digital signalling system in the ISDN phone system, this work describes how SS7 (signalling system 7) is integrated into ISDN for a high quality of service. It covers operation, maintenance and administration of ISDN with SS7 network. It also discusses major ISDN services optimized with SS7 technology: phone conferencing systems, Internet access, video over phone lines, and mobile and wireless 800 service.

The seller was very understanding and gave me a full refund for the damaged book, though it was no fault of their own. Other than the damage, the book was as described, the quality and condition aside from the damaged spot was like new. The cost of the book was reasonable. I would definitely purchase from the seller again.
