Terrible book
This book is pathetic. In the first half you realize this 20 year old spent less than a month with Elvis and got 4 rings, 2 necklaces and two cars. Then he bought cars for her family, mink coats. Rings etc. basically the entire book is about all the expensive gifts she got basically because Elvis was in a decline and thought Ginger looked like his mother and Priscilla and he could reclaim his past. REVIEW FOR ELVIS AND GINGER
Thought the first half was written quite eloquently. The 2nd half was extremely graphic, especially his death scene. May be some animosity regarding the Presley estate never paying off Mrs. Alden (Ginger's Mother) home mortgage loan. Book states it was a verbal promise/agreement between Mrs. Alden, Ginger, and Elvis. However, nothing was legally documented. On target
Elvis was surrounded by many people during his lifetime - each with there own perspective. Ginger's perspective is another insight into Elvis and is a piece of the puzzle when put with the other pieces makes the puzzle whole. Her view is valid, too.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
