Excellent quality.

Classic Movie from 1997 and still one of the best after 20 years! I've seen it no less than 5 times. It is based on the true story of the ship Titanic that sank in 1912 Great script and cast of characters brought to life on the big screen like no one but James Cameron can. Titanic is an epic, action-packed romance set against the ill-fated maiden voyage of the R.M.S. Titanic; the pride and joy of the White Star Line and, at the time, the largest moving object ever built. Their love story is a yawn.
I have now seen this film twice; the first time was when it came out, the second is now, many years later. Neither time was I impressed with the main characters and their much heralded love story. The real people portrayed were much more interesting to me. What did is impress me was the second half of the film and its portrayal of the sinking. Since three of my four grandparents came to the US in steerage of those great liners, I was especially interested in how those passengers were treated. A recurring question is about how often DiCaprio was able to escape his lowly place and visit with his lady love. The music was fine, and, technically, the film was so very well done. Excelent production of a historical disaster.
This retelling of the ship lost to the sea is an excellent example of fine moviemaking. It provides the audience with adventure, romance, thrills, a bit of humor, concluding with inevitable tragedy. Commonsense Screen Size
First and foremost, If you plan on making a film why rob the screen? Me personally, I have a 40" screen that wasn't even half used, for the film, by an entire movie that has been cropped vertically and horizontally... Did they think we would sink in our couches like the Mighty Titanic watching this? It was a real struggle to watch this film, because of the sheer theft of the screen... I cannot imagine others desiring different, so I will confidently speak for them and you reading this review, THAT, When we purchase a TV and a movie to play on it and a DVD or Blue-Ray or even an old VCR, WE would like the entire screen filled up with film, that's what we paid for, both the movie and the TV screen size....What could possibly be the reason to rob us viewers???Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Gets you thinking about life
About a girl who has it made per se but feels like she is missing something. She finds that missing piece in a man named Jack. It's a perfect example of a person who is transformed by being loved by another person. Because of him, she ends up living a full life she otherwise wouldn't have.
