disappointing
I have seen other books by these authors, and many quilts so I was excited to get this book. From the cover you expect nature-inspired art quilts. Well. you don't get them! Many of the designs are indeed garden-inspired, but focus on garden ORNAMENTS, not plants. So you have yet another folk art angel quilt on country colors. I love country colors, but that's not what I wanted in this book. There are in fact no art quilts other than the cover quilt. With such wonderful photos, why not make quilts inspired by them? Captions would have been helpful as well, since many of the plants are unfamiliar to me. I got a great deal on this book, otherwise I would have sent it back.
