Fluval Rim Connector
The original rim connector became brittle after a little over a year from fitting new. The new connector is stronger and is easy to fit. Have noted the cost is high for a moulded product. So hope the new one will last longer than the original.

Just too expensive
I like everything about Fluval. Good quality products. But the price of spare parts is ridiculous. Admittedly, this is a fairly complicated part and essential to secure the inlet end outlet hoses, but the price is sad. And yet, this is the cheapest I found.
