So glad I found this!
I love having my own copy of one of my favorite movies. After all these years, I didn't realize there might still be a perfect copy available. All the characters were so well done, and Robert Duval's character has always been unforgettable for his tough shell but soft interior. And the Foreign Legion flashbacks were so exciting. Just a good movie from start to finish, and totally believable.

The Best Family Movie of Our Time!
This is a great movie, set in the early sixties, that explores childhood neglect, trauma, healing and love in ways most never could imagine. It is funny, engaging, full of suspense, and provides closure at the end. The language is very clean for our times and I buy copies routinely to give as gifts to friends, family, and anybody who is in need of a laugh, a cry, and a smile looking for a clean, wholesome movie.

Great Fun Movie for All Ages.
I love this movie. Kids or grownups can watch it and laugh and have fun. It sets up an incredible story which then .... It supports values like loyalty and love of family, without fear of adventure.

Great movie!
The acting is superb. I loved this movie when it was first released years ago. I purchased this DVD for a friend who had never seen it. She loved it too. Disc arrived quickly in excellent condition.

Awesome show
Have always loved this show my boyfriend had never seen it and I wanted to share it with him, couldn't find it anywhere, finally found it on eBay and the price was perfect

GREAT movie—Tells a great story with a lot of humor.
LOVE this movie. The chemistry between Robert Duvall, Michael Cain and Haley Joel Osment is FANTASTIC. This is what I would call a “feel good movie” that also has a lot of comedy mixed with a meaningful storyline. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone

Fun, Fun, Fun -- Love it
Great fun. Except for a few references it is the perfect family film. My 11 year old grandson loves it. Actually this will be one of his Christmas gifts.

Second Hand Lions defined the two brothers very well and made for a great movie
Both actors did an awsom job of keeping you entertained along with them at first not wanting to take care of the nephew but after he was there an they taught him much about hard work and life values he was accepted. The one brother had a hard to believe but true adventure full life along with they were accused of stealing money but in the end it was proven not true. Glad we bought the movie and will I am sure watch many times. Would recommend to any one that like true to life down to earth movies.

All of the characters made this one of the best movies I've seen. Got it so my 13 year old grandson could watch it with us. He loved it too.
