Good luck if your TV is older than 2018
30 years IT technical support experience, 1 month effort and I failed to get it to work. Wifi has to be 2.4Ghz, if you have a Netgear router, turn off Smartconnect; Get rid of your old HDMI cable, Hue Sync needs HDMI2.0b standard with HDCP 2.2, Hue Sync HDMI 2 & 4 are more reliable ... Philips support never explained why;
Update the firmware on the Hue Sync box & the Hue Sync app & the Hue hub & the Hue bulbs. The lights turned on, sync started and did not change colour. Your TV must support Dolby Vision, so if it’s older than 2018, you are probably out of luck. In my case, the website said all Panasonic models are supported, but they meant to say all models after 2018. Someone tell the designer, go back to the drawing board and implement it using your PC hue sync program on a Raspberry Pi.
