He is the father of Bluegrass. He synthesized the Scotish, American folk, jazz & country strains of music floating around in the mid-South in the 30's. After all, all he did was create a musical genre and an amazing songbook that has been covered by everyone and highly influenced everyone from Elvis Presley to the Grateful Dead to today's Country stars like Ricky Scaggs, Vince Gill, & Allison Krauss. This Millennium collection features original 50's version of 8 of his most famous classics.

If you are..well. Shipping was really fast and was packed very well. Album was just as described, brand new and in pristine condition. Seller communication was VERY good. Just recently got into her music and I have to say, she's one of the hidden gems.
