This CD - and the Volume 1 associated with it - tend to be expensive but are essential buys for Marillion fans. In my opinion this Steve Hogarth incarnation of the band have become more proficient both musically and lyrically with each release, this being a fine set with the last four tracks climaxing nicely. Whereas Volume 1 is conceptual, this CD includes a range of tracks with standouts including Man from Planet Marzipan and Tears for Sale. Like Volume 1, this album improves with each hearing. Not Marillion's best release but a fine album.
